Copenhagen
Denmark Flight - Finding a flight from your
city will be very easy. You can check the airlines
online or go through a travel agent. The Copenhagen
Airport is served by SAS, Maersk Air and 60 other
carriers, operating services to and from 111 cities
world-wide so you can be sure you are in luck if you
want to catch a plane to Copenhagen.
There are lots of great rates on the airlines right
now due to the price wars that are in effect with
the airlines. You can also get some really low fares
if you are willing to travel on short notice. Give
yourself enough time to go through security at the
airports no matter when you are travelling and on
which airlines.
Copenhagen Airport is very modern
and it has shopping, dining and business services
for your use. There are plenty of information desks
so you can ask for anything you need. The airport
personnel will try to help you if they can. The city
offers the fastest and cheapest airport-to-city-centre
rail link in any European capital and it is just 20
minutes travel time so that is very convenient for
you the traveller.
You can also use the DSB - the Danish State Railway
which connects Copenhagen with all
the capitals in Continental Europe. There is another
means of getting transportation from the airport and
that is by boat. There are direct ferries that connect
Copenhagen with Sweden, Norway and Poland. By car
or train you can also reach other Danish towns with
ferry-connections. By car the Denmark's highway system
links Copenhagen with the rest of Europe and other
neighbouring countries via E 47, E 20 (with connection
to E 45) and E 55 for easy access. There are busses
but only a few of the companies operate from Copenhagen.
