Copenhagen Denmark Culture - When you are in the area take advantage of the museums there are to be seen. You will want to spend hours in them to admire their wonderful works of art. The theatre district is fantastic too with many different offerings. You will have opportunities to see Operas, Broadway Shows, dance, art galleries and Ballet and more. Take in as many of these fantastic shows as you can. The nightlife in the area is tops as well as the dining experiences.

The city offers some other cultural events also. The Giant Jazz, is held in the Circus building and it has some of the world’s greatest musicians. It happens in September and there are concerts, ballet and drama celebrating the Danish Golden Age (1800-50). The Kulturnatten or Copenhagen Night of Culture (e-mail: kulturnatten@woco.dk; website: www.kulturnatten.dk ) is the night (usually in August, September or October) when you can attend special events in the city’s museums, galleries, churches, theatres, concert halls, bookshops and cafés.

You will want to keep these events in mind when you are considering planning your trip. Try to come to Copenhagen during one of these special events to enjoy even more of the cultural aspects of the city.
